Phantasm is a powder made from Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc grapes. They are incredibly rich in Thiol precursors, which when added correctly to a fermenting beer, can unlock rich, Strong tropical fruit aromas.
Our packs contain enough Phantasm for 5 to 10 gallons of beer, depending on your usage rates, yeast selection, hop selection, etc. If you're using a thiolized yeast, utilizing mash hopping or selecting grains that produce higher levels of thiols, you can use Phantasm in amounts closer to low end of the recommended usage rate. Or you can go nuts with all of it to get the most out of your beer!
Our packs do have a resealable zipper to store leftover Phantasm for your next brew.
14 - 28 grams per gallon (0.5 - 1 oz per gallon), usually added during active fermentation. Usage rates vary depending on yeast selection, hop selection, and when Phantasm is added.
