Kveik is a term that describes a family of Norwegian yeast strains that have been found to ferment in unbelievably high temperatures, while still producing fantastic flavors and making great beer. Most of these strains ferment well at 75 - 100 degrees! They ferment fast and clean, making them ideal for quick turnaround and great beers in hot temperature settings (LIKE THIS SUMMER!) They produce everything from crisp, clean lager-like flavors, to tropical citrus-fruit flavors, great for anything from pseudo-lagers to NEIPAs.
